About Us

Jennifer Chesson PA-C, BCPA

Jennifer is a Certified Physician Assistance (PA-C) and Board Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA) with a passion for patient centered care. She graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Physical Therapy and earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPA) from Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, Virginia. She has 10 years of experience in Emergency Medicine with a Certificate of Additional Qualification (CAQ) in the specialty and is currently practicing as an inpatient Gastroenterology and Hepatology Physician Assistant in Columbus, Ohio.

Jennifer spent over 6 years participating in an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Peer Review Committee, focused on

reviewing patient cases involving missed diagnoses, care provided below the standard, medication errors and patient complaints. She reviewed cases of patients presenting back to the Emergency Department (ED) shortly after initial evaluation, or admitted to the hospital within 72 hours of initial ED discharge. The Committee member's goal was to improve quality of care and patient safety.

Encompass Care Solutions was started in 2023 knowing that more could be done to support patients and their caregivers as they encounter the complexities and challenges of navigating our healthcare system. Our goal is to help patients and their loved ones feel educated and empowered throughout their healthcare journey. We strive to have productive healthcare encounters, strengthen relationships and trust with members of the healthcare team, minimize hospital length of stays and avoid delays in care.

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children, along with family and friends. She is happiest when-- traveling, spending time outdoors, trying new local restaurants, fitting in a good workout or sipping on a hot cup of home roasted coffee!
